When?

It has been 2 years that I had abandoned this blog, I wonder when I will let guitar rocks my life again. I am waiting ..

It’s time to let the guitar rock my life again

It has been almost 3 months that I didn’t touch my beloved guitar. I was emotionally troubled by work and life. The problem has not reached the conclusion yet and it still has a long way to go.

I can’t c my future, I don’t know how to plan. But, life still has to go on.

Back to guitar, my left hand sweated a lot when holding the guitar which I don’t know why.

After some rocky time with guitar, I am welcoming it back to my life again. Hope that I will love it more than before.

Guitar vs programming

Has been hanging around with guitar for almost 5 months, it is terrific! Love it! To become a guitarist is not an overnight thing, it takes a lot of practices and of that will be an advantage if you have a talent in music. While this is totally different from my job, in programming, you need to have talent, smart.. practice… a lot of stuffs need to be in order for you to be in programming guru.. The best part of playing guitar is that you don’t really have to think much, get a guitar study some chords then you can start playing and hurting your fingers.. =)

I WANT BACK MY LIFE

Have been helping my friend for almost a month. I lost my freedom but in return I can contribute to lighten my friend's burden. =) Seriously saying I am exhausted, but no choice! My part 1 and my part 2 life is draining my energy. Part 1, working from 8 am - 6 pm. part 2, work from 8 pm - 1 am. It's stressful to code in Java, i am in the rush everyday and every moment ... wish to get it done asap ... n get back my normal life ... must work harder to complete it or else everyone will be suffering...

The moment of life

The moment I agreed to work for my friend I know that it will be the end of my sweet weekends and after work personal time. I am just a beginner in Java programming and working for him will not be an easy road. The main reason I help him because he is my friend and he is seriously in need of hand. The money that he offered really doesn’t attract me, because I know I have to sacrifice a lot of my time. I have job during the day and guitar lesson to attend. Time management is really important to me. Guitar is important to me. I just started learning it few months ago, no matter what I dont want to neglect it. I have to pick up Java asap and begin the adventurous and dangerous journey! May god bless him and his teammates so that they can deliver the project on time!

Visit to Yamaha

Right after work, i went to Yamaha to get a new guitar pick. I have medium pick so i want to get a soft pick. According to a online source stating that soft pick is suitable for acoustic guitar. Moreover, i found that hard pick is too stiff when I strummed it. So, i better get a soft pick and see the difference. There are so many picks, come in different colors, patterns and shapes. WOW, they just moved to a new shop displaying many guitars at the ground floor and drum set at the 1st floor. I am fascinated seeing so many guitars. Haha .. feel like getting another new one.

Strumming vs. plucking

If I have to choose, I prefer strumming guitar technique than plucking. This is because, I like hitting hard at the strings with the guitar pick. That’s cool! Playing chords are more difficult than notes with plucking. Left hand fingers really have to be strong enough to impose pressure on the guitar frets or else you will never get the right key. Fingers hurt. But I chose to play it and I will continue and I can’t give up so easy!
